Prior to sending any documentation to UKVI, applicants are strongly advised to make sure that the courier company they are planning to use will deliver to Post Office (PO) Box addresses in the UK. 
Please note Parcelforce will not deliver to a UK P O Box address, and that supporting documents sent through them are liable to be destroyed.

You should visit GOV.UK to make your visa application, pay your fee and book your appointment to submit your documents at our visa application centre.

You then need to register on this site after booking your appointment – otherwise you risk unnecessary delays.

This site provides you with a guide to apply for your visa. It also gives you information about our visa application centre and the type of added value services that we provide.

Due to global changes in the way visa applications are processed, children under 5 years old are now required to attend the Visa Application Centre to complete the application process. It is now mandatory for them to have their photo taken at the VAC. These changes do not affect applications that have already been submitted.


UK visa customers should please note that only TLScontact staff are able to provide official information on visa processing times and optional added value services. These staff are inside the Visa Application Centre. TLScontact staff are unable to provide immigration advice and do not have any role in the decision making process. TLScontact is in no way affiliated with any individuals operating outside the Visa Application Centre premises.

New supporting document scanning process.

From the 5th of December customers applying for a UK visa in Nigeria will benefit from digital improvements to the UK visa application process. For more details, please click here.

In order to avoid delays in the Visa Application Centre it is recommended that customers follow the instructions below:

  • Bring your original passport (or travel document) and residence permit/national ID card (if applicable);
  • Bring A4 copies of all of your supporting documents. Copies should be of reasonably good quality to be readable when scanned. Use coloured copies if necessary.
  • If you would like to submit an old passport or a sponsor’s passport as supporting document, then you must provide copies of it as well;
  • Remove any staples, clips or pins from documents before submitting them.
